The shapes of this typeface is based on the forms of the chair Cubista by Martino Gamper. Cubista is part of his project 100 chairs in 100 days. In his project Gampers made a new chair a day for a hundred days from found material. I like to think of these letters as an iteration of his found material and the process of the making interesting and functional shapes.
Hilda Tenow Benulic is a graphic designer and illustrator, working within the field of art, film and communication.
